Like Father Like Son

On Friday, August 15, 2008, our cream sable bred-by champion, "Ronald," took best of breed at the PSPC specialty show, which now makes him BISS CH Evensong's Win N For Z Gipper, AOM.

The judge was Mr. Reinaldo Burgos. Ronald is sired by our foundation male, BISS CH LaRajus Palisades Van Gogh. He too, won a best in specialty in 2005, shown by myself. I can't thank my friend Laura of LaRajus Poms for selling Vinnie to me. I also can't leave out Ronald's dam, Beau James Whisper O Pearl Moon, "Whisper." She has produced two champions, two more that are close to being finished, two more that are just about ready to show, and one grandson that is pointed. :)

Tucker In Love

We had a good time visiting my family this past summer. Tucker had even more fun, as he fell in love with a bear statue in my parents backyard. He would jump up on the tree stump and rub his head under the bear's neck, and then bark at it. I think he was trying to get it to play with him, silly dog!

This picture was taken on the fourth of July weekend at shows in Bandon, Oregon. I was sharing a motel room with my Yorkie friend, JR, and a young handler, Jen, who had a Border Collie. They were so similar in markings that we just had to snap this pic!

I've been MIA for a bit. It's been so busy here! We're in the process of getting our home ready to sell, and working on buying a new one. A log house - my husband's dream home - on ten acres with plenty of room for the Poms. :)

So....I will try to catch up soon by posting a pic or two.

George Gets His First Point

Our little bred-by boy, Evensong's Father Of His Country, "George," went winners dog/best of winners for his very first point on August 3, 2008, in Roseburg, Oregon. The judge was Mr. Warren Hudson. We're very proud of this little guy. He just made it to four pounds, but don't tell him he's small. He moves like a big dog and has the attitude to match.
