Remembering Touch

Evensong's Touch N Go
"Touch"

Rainbow Bridge
January 26, 2004 - June 27, 2008

There will never be another Pom like our "special" Touch! He was handraised and wasn't expected to live long, as he had many health issues. But, he surprised us all by living for four and a half years.

Touch will be missed by myself and my husband. He was our constant companion and had a wonderful, but short life. He traveled all the way from Oregon to Connecticut and back two summers ago. When he wasn't begging for food or sleeping in his favorite donut bed, he would go for family walks, and he occasionally made a trip to work with my husband. One of his favorite treats was ice cubes. Anytime one would fall on the floor from the ice maker he would be the first one in line to grab it and run.

Touch's favorite place of all was to be on our bed each and every night. If we'd forget him downstairs, he'd bark and bark until we came to bring him up. And yes, we had to carry him up the stairs, because he never learned how to climb them.
It was Touch's favorite place where he fell asleep on June 27, 2008, and didn't wake up. He will be missed forever!

Sugar Has Ten Points Now

Evensong's Sugar Plum Fairy, "Sugar," went WB/BOS to pick up another single point, which brings her total to 10 points with one major. The show was July 6th, and the judge was Mrs. Sharon Krogh. This is the third time that Mrs. Krogh has given Sugar points, and we couldn't be happier. Sugar only needs one major and a couple of singles now to finish. Hurray for the "bigger" Pom!

Mt. Bachelor KC Wins

On Saturday, June 28th, our new bred-by, Evensong's Father Of His Country, "George," went reserve winners dog, and his sire, Ch. Ronald took best of breed. The judge was Dr. Wanda V. Spediacci. On Sunday, June 29th, another new bred-by, Evensong's Dark Side of the Moon, "Floyd," took his first point by going winners dog under Mr. Charles E. Trotter. Mr. Trotter also gave Ch. Ronald best of breed. Both George and Floyd are second generation bred- by kids, and we are very proud of them.
