Candid Photos of Ronald

A Major for Ronald and More Points for Sugar

We just returned from shows in Lewiston Idaho. We had a great time during our three days of showing! It was made even better by the performance of our dogs.

Ronald, Evensong's Win N For Z Gipper, has finally matured into a beautiful show dog. He's from slow maturing lines, and to be honest I was about ready to give up on this presidential boy. But....Ronald wasn't ready to give up. On our first day of showing under judge Mr. Charles E. Hunt, he took winners dog, best of winners, and best of breed over a lovely special for a three point major. He then went on to take a group three under the same judge. I was in a state of shock all day long.

On the second day of showing under judge Mr. Joseph E. Gregory, Ronald went winners dog, best of winners, and best bred-by for another two points. He then went on to take a bred-by group two. Oh my gosh!

When it couldn't get any better, he won again yesterday for another two points under Mrs. M. Judith Hunt. So, in three days of showing he now has seven points, plus his first major.

To sweeten our trip even more, Sugar went winners bitch and best of opposite sex to Ronald for a point on the first day, reserve on the second day, and winners bitch and best of opposite sex to Ronald for another point yesterday.

Our baby, Butter, was shown by my husband, and she took her first reserve to Sugar yesterday too.

My husband took a few pictures of Ronald, which I'll post next.
